Who I Am?

My story isn’t one of privilege or luxury. It’s a narrative of grit, resilience, and unshakable determination. Born into a humble family in India, I experienced firsthand the crushing weight of financial struggles. The idea of education was a distant dream for many in my situation, and in 6th grade, I almost had to drop out of school because my family simply couldn’t afford the fees.

But giving up wasn’t an option.

I worked countless odd jobs, doing whatever it took to stay in school and keep my dreams alive. Every challenge I faced was a lesson, and every hardship was a stepping stone. I learned to make every rupee count, and from those lessons, a fire ignited in me—the desire to take control of my financial future.

At the age of 26, with only $8 CAD in hand, I made my very first investment in mutual funds. That small step was the beginning of my journey into the world of finance. The first trade I made after mutual funds involved following a famous investor. It provided me with some profit, but I quickly realized that this wasn’t the right approach to investing. I understood that true financial mastery came from commitment to learning and research.

Determined to refine my strategy, I devoted myself to understanding the markets more deeply. I immersed myself in learning and analysis, recognizing that the real gains would come from my own insights rather than merely mirroring others. This commitment allowed me to increase my investments and grow my portfolio significantly.
In just a few years, I had not only grown my investments but also saved enough to fund my MBA in Canada—something that once seemed impossible.

Today, as a financial analyst, I stand as proof that no matter where you come from, with enough persistence and dedication, you can rise above any circumstance. My passion now is helping others navigate their own financial journeys, providing the tools and knowledge they need to succeed—whether they’re starting with $8 or $800,000.
